CBD works with our own Endocannabinoid System to help maintain Balance or Homeostasis—basically feeling “Normal”. Consistency is key to best results, take your CBD twice a day every day.

In general, an average dose of CBD is 20-30 mg. Everyone’s Endocannabinoid System is different; some people need more and some need less. It is important to take notes when first starting your CBD regimen so that you can figure out what dose works best for you. CBD dosing is a bell-shaped curve with an optimal peak or “sweet spot”. Low doses of CBD can be energizing while higher doses can be relaxing/sedating. You may find that you prefer to use a lower dose during the day and a higher dose at night. As you gradually increase your dose, take note of when your symptoms are improved. You may find that your symptoms return after going beyond this ideal dose—that means that you went beyond the “sweet spot’ and you should reduce your dose back down to that optimal amount.

Dosage Guidelines:

  • 1500mg/30ml Tincture contains 50 mg/1 ml dropper, a starting dose of ¼ dropper or 0.25 ml is 12.5 mg.
  • 2250 mg/30 ml Tincture contains 75 mg/1 ml dropper, a starting dose of ¼ dropper or 0.25 ml is 18.75 mg.
  • CBD Tablets contain 30mg each, you may start with ½ tablet (15 mg).
  • CBD Sleep Tablets contain 12 mg CBD each plus 3 mg Melatonin and 40 mg L-Tryptophan, start with 1 tablet about 1 hour before bedtime.
  • CBD Fruit Chews contain 30mg CBD each, start with ½ chew (15 mg).
  • Sleep Support Fruit Chews contain 30 mg CBD, 15 mg CBN, and 2.5 mg THC (Federally compliant, less than 0.3% THC by weight, non-psychoactive). Take 1 fruit chew 1 hour before bedtime.

To optimize absorption of tincture, place your dose under your tongue and hold it for 1 minute, then swallow. Take CBD products with healthy fats (olive oil, avocado, fish oil) to increase absorption in the GI tract.

Take the same dose daily for 3-5 days, then increase your dose by 25% until you get optimal relief. You may notice that a higher dose of CBD makes you sleepy, so take a lower dose in the morning (for a more energizing effect) and a higher dose at night (for a relaxing effect). *Note that your evening dose may be 2-4 x higher than your daytime dose.

If effects wear off too early in the day you may need to add a midday dose.

Once you find your optimal doses, calculate your monthly needs and order at least 1 week in advance, so that you do not run out of product.
